We have a new Irish made range of bottle and tea blends in our stores. Dr Clare Apothecary range is the result of many clinical years of GP and Herbal Medicine practice by Dr Dilis Clare. Moving from London to Galway city to open her Herbal Medicine Clinic in 1999 the brand evolved over time to include tincture blends for everything from a chesty cough to urinary tract infections and many other health concerns. The herbal tea blends are based on various health conditions too and come in loose 50g bags or the unique tea sachets to make your daily pot or flask. Each sachet is the equivalent of 3 standard teabags. They are all fully compostable.
The traditions and the healing results of Western & Chinese herbs go back thousands of years all around the world. Dr Clare’s firm belief in the power of the herbs with the knowledge of her own insights into conventional medicine make me both excited and confident about selling this range in Kanturk and Charleville.
They are all plant based too. Dr Clare Apothecary and the team host free herb walks every summer in Galway and even bring local schoolchildren to nearby herb and vegetable plots scattered throughout Galway’s Westend on request.
I’m really excited about trying the Antiflam tea sachets myself to help with my aches and pains! The bottle version Musculojoint is also available in store.
