My father and I started up the OptiBac Probiotics brand in 2004, under the company name Wren Laboratories Ltd. Dad dedicated over 35 years to working as a successful community pharmacist, and with a passion for health & wellbeing was keen to move into something with a stronger focus on natural health this time. We had both been blown away by taking probiotic supplements ourselves, and were excited to discover more about the possibilities of probiotics and health.
We are proud to be a family business; I now run OptiBac Probiotics on a day to day basis, still with dad’s helping hand from time to time. I managed to draft in my two sisters, and the rest of the team is as good as family even though there may be no blood relation. We are a UK company based in Andover, Hampshire where my sisters and I grew up, and we now have a small office in London as well.
