Easy Bean Burgers

These are a great and easy alternative to meaty burgers and the whole family will love them.

Ingredients
½ a red or white onion
olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 x 400 g tin beans or equivalent dry beans cooked – kidney, pinto, blackbeans – whichever you like!
100 g fresh breadcrumbs
(You can add cumin, chilli, coriander etc to spice these up some more)

Saute the onion to soften it and release the flavour
Mush up the beans – it’s fun to do with your hands, they don’t need to be smooth.
Mix in the onion and whatever spices you choose and the breadcrumbs – then form into patties with your hands.
Brush them with oil and grill them until they are browned.
